Codex Working Group


The Codex Alimentarius Committee is a United Nations body under the World Health Organisation and the Food and Agriculture Organisation. Baby foods come under the scope of several standards relating to product composition and labelling and IBFAN briefs member states on its concerns. Marketing activities are not otherwise addressed by Codex.
