Companies: Milupa and Bebivita

"Milupa is also recalling infant formula, three days after Bebivita recalled packets of infant formula with deadly bacteria. The packages were for Bebivita starter milk I, with an expiry date of 18.05.08. About 10,000-30,000 packets had been distributed to shops since March. Anyone who bought this product must not use it at all but bring it back to the shop where purchased. Milupa announced that it had discovered life-threatening bacteria
of the Enterobacter sakazakii species in Milumil I starter formula. If baby milks infected with E. sakazakii are left unrefrigerated for several hours after being  prepared, before being given to the baby, there is a risk of life-threatening illness".
