ICDC Activities

ICDC serves as the Code training unit; it teaches civil servants how to draft laws based on the International Code and subsequent resolutions; ICDC also offers shorter Code awareness training and can provide
national health inspectors and NGO’s with Code monitoring training and materials.

ICDC collects and analyses drafts of legislation, codes and other regulatory measures designed to implement the International Code at national level.

ICDC publishes comprehensive Handbooks on Code implementation; worldwide reports on Code compliance and regular charts listing and grading governments’ efforts to put the Code into effect. It holds the most comprehensive collection of national laws and other measures in the world.

For a periodical review of ICDC activities, check the bi-annual newsletter in the section on Code Watch - ICDC Legal Updates and Alerts.
